April Bauknight is a real estate attorney licensed to practice law in NJ, DC, and MD.  April’s journey toward becoming a real estate lawyer started with attending Duke University in North Carolina where she double majored in Public Policy Studies and Political Science and minored in Spanish.

 

Upon graduation, she secured a job with the Council on Affordable Housing in Trenton, NJ ready to right the wrongs in the housing market. After a year, Ms. Bauknight decided to attend law school. She enrolled in and graduated from Rutgers University School of Law, Newark. While she has worked in a variety of legal fields previously, she has found the optimal legal environment for herself.

 

April's private estate law practice specializes in creating and maintaining generational wealth through real estate closings and estate planning as a real estate lawyer. April enjoys the role she now has in the housing market, namely, helping new homeowners achieve their dreams. Coupled with a will to secure and protect their futures, April is helping her clients create and maintain wealth for their families as an estate attorney and real estate lawyer.
